Prerequisites

There are a few prerequisites to check off before you begin. Make sure you have the following:

Access to a Fuzzball cluster (on-prem or in the cloud)

Your administrator can create a Fuzzball user for you within your organization. This will give you credentials to access the cluster when you want to create and run workflows. Contact your administrator or CIQ for more details.

The cluster also needs outbound network access to whichever container registry your workflows pull images from. The example workflow in this tutorial pulls a public image from Docker Hub.

A way to interact with Fuzzball

Fuzzball allows you to interact through a web UI or a CLI.

If you are using the web UI, point a browser such as Chrome, Firefox, or Safari at the appropriate URL. If CIQ has given you access to a hosted cloud cluster, that URL is ui.stable.fuzzball.ciq.dev. If your organization hosts an on-prem Fuzzball installation, you can obtain the appropriate URL from your administrator.

If you want to interact with Fuzzball through your terminal, you can download and install the CLI. Installing the CLI requires credentials for the CIQ Depot package repository, which you can request from your administrator or from CIQ.
